| Brian, physically, is very much like his father, Jean Kemp. He is a little over six feet tall, is a bit lanky, and has green eyes. The only difference is their hair. Brian's hair is long and black, about to the base of his neck. He likes the grunge look, so his hair hangs in his face most of the time (His father's hair is no longer black, now a slightly dark shade of grey, which is still fading). Brian's demeanor differs also. While Jean always seemed to be angry at something, or in later cases, a bit out of his mind, Brian is very energetic. He can usually be seen walking around humming some kind of rock tune. When he gets into a battle however, he gets dead serious really quick. |
History |
| After his father, Jean Kemp (a member of the old Cold Force) suffered a wound that resulted in a disabled left arm, he was forced into "retirement," sticking more to helping plan strategies and repairing equipment. In 2007, after the USSA was founded, he retired permanently, and he wound up settling down in Anchorage and later married. In 2009, Brian was born. Since he was young, Brian's dream was to follow in his father's footsteps and help fight the aliens, and every time Brian brought it up, Jean would always say "What the hell is the matter with you, Son? I've told you a thousand times that I had no other choice but to do what I did. Why don't you just get a job at McDonald's or something?" Brian was able to (somehow) put aside differences with his crazy father and joined the USSA air force. He was a great pilot and went on many successful bombing runs on alien bases. He can fly or drive nearly anything, his record speaks for itself. What he really wanted to do though, was hunt down the aliens and take them down in hand to hand combat. Finally, after undergoing months upon months of training, he was accepted into C4, the new Cold Force. He is a great driver/pilot, but he can't use sniper equipment as well as a person trained for the position. He can handle explosives and heavy weapons pretty well however, and his father also gave him the secret to his patented "wonder-boom," a demolition explosive that Jean used to make for heavy weapons personel when he was still in the Cold Force. |
Personality |
| Jean Kemp was mostly introverted, and later began to go a little batty, but in this case, the saying "Like father, like son" does not apply. Brian Kemp isn't one burrito short of a grande meal like his father is; he has his head straightened out. He knows what he wants to do, and he doesn't resent government forces as his father does (see Jean Kemp's bio in the old Cold Force roster if you want more info). Brian likes to joke a lot off the job, and will sometimes make a wisecrack in the middle of a mission when least expected, but usually if he is in a dangerous situation he won't say much of anything. He's always looking for something to do, he doesn't like to stand still for long periods of time (unless he has a good reason, like if he were trapped under a pile of rubble and the slightest move could bring the whole thing crashing down on him). He is outspoken when talking to people, but sometimes he is a little too outspoken...which sometimes gets him in trouble with his commanding officers. He means well though and doesn't want to be disrespectful. |
