A injury from a previous furball is apparent on King's face, scar marks around the right
side of his face. King lost his hearing when an explosive hit the wall next to his head,
he was lucky to have kept his head intact. He had implants put in a week later, and claims to be
able to hear better than before. Numerous requests to be rostered back on active duty were filed
before his commanding officer finally let in and let him back into his squad three weeks after
his injury. He claims the implants are the next best thing to indoor plumbing because he can
turn the sound down when he's busyproviding suppressing fire with his autocannon.
King, or Dan as he insists everybody call him, is a person who is frank and even though
he respects authority, his mouth does not necessarily agree with him. Many are the times his
squad leader has shouted at him to shut up in the middle of a intense fight, because King
was been begging him to let the squad move forwards even deeper into enemy positions. His
eagerness to get into the thick of the fighting is compensated by his exceptionally fast and
accurate trigger finger.
King has his own autocannon he has lovingly modified in his spare time, it can now accept
mainstream 7.62mm rounds other than the USSA endorsed larger 12mm rounds that it had used.
The piercing power of the weapons ammunition remains the same. However, King can now carry
a significantly larger supply of ammunition for his weapon. There are now several other
autocannons undergoing the same modification back on his former military base.
(King has brought this gun along with him to C4 - after buying the gun off USSA.)
