| Not much is known about Heide, who joined Captain Wychin's Delta Force
team without any credentials as a private just a few weeks before the disastrous
Cydonia mission, partly because he is unwilling to tell anything. However,
were X-Com still operational, it's personnel files would indicate that
a Bundeswehr major named Julius Heide was recruited by X-Com on the 29th
of December 1999, and as an able officer, was one of the people that were
designated to train the recruits, and sometimes, to infiltrate various
special forces and determine who would be the most suitable ones to be
"persuaded" to join X-Com(The ones with very limited family connections
dubbed as most suitable). As it became evident that X-Com was practically
destroyed in a matter of days, Heide saw no other choice than the team
up with the group he had monitored. Like most officers in the world, he
hasn't seen much active combat service, and thus may get slightly irritated
if under extreme pressure, but that may be just due to inexperience and
might pass over time. He also has some sort of strange obsession with combing
his hair into a Prussian army style. |
