Sophia had long red hair falling down to her waist, which is now going
gray. In
previous years, and even through the war she kept her angelic smile, and a candid expression but through the years she's been worn down. She's walked with an occasional limp ever since the initial attack on Anchorage, but usually hides it rather well. Despite that she can move at a quick pace, though age and working in an office has slowed her down. She always preferred to walk slowly and take in her surroundings, until leadership forced her to the head of the pack, and even now she will sit for long times just looking out of the window. |

Sophia was born in Seattle Washington. She lived with her mother, father
and her brother Michael. She started school early, advancing quickly and
skipped though high school in two years, graduating at age 16. The next
year she began medical school on a scholarship. Upon getting her M.D. she
volunteered for the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Just after the millennium,
she was offered the chance to join the Delta Force due to her excellent
performance. She accepted, and after a few months of training, was assigned
to Captain Wychin's Delta Force team. This was shortly before most of the
team was transferred off to Alaska. During the invasion she was shot in
the leg and saved by a fellow team member. It took a long while to recover,
but she is able to use her leg almost fully.
Through the years of the great war Sophia remained with Captain Wychin and his Cold Force team continuing her duties as medic as well as fighting along side her team members. She quickly moved up the ranks, showing her leadership skills as well as understanding of her comrades. She climbed to second in command at one point, ranking 2nd Lieutenant, before requesting to leave the position. She continued her duties as medic and fighting as well, but as time progressed she requested to stay behind and care for the injured on missions where she was not needed. Sophia remained loyal to Wychin through the years, and when the USSA was formed, Sophia became the first Vice President of the newly established country. As in her previous years assisting Wychin in his leadership, she still has her disagreements with him, but she has learned to accept and compromise, thinking of thegreater good the USSA has brought rather that some of it's more harsh ways in exterminating all who oppose it. |

At one time Sophia was very sociable and would talk to just about anyone, but since her brother's death she has become withdrawn a time, often sitting silently and staring off into space. She makes public appearances when they are required, and doesn't mind dealing with the public. In her younger years she would try anything once, and would do nearly anything on a dare, but with middle age setting in she lost a little bit of her mischief. Her most prize possession is her lucky rabbits foot, she is never without it. Her parents got it for her when she was a child, and she's kept it with her since. It's dyed a purple red color, but the fur rubbed off long ago. Through the great war she wore it on a shoelace around her neck. To this day she swears it kept her alive. Since her the death of her brother, her last living relative, John Poole is her oldest friend. She knows Wychin well, and even considers him her friend in some ways, but through his job he's always acted as a superior officer and she's always followed through loyalty. |
